  • When you initially receive your new personal vaporizer, the cartridge that is installed is a “dummy” cartridge.  Please remove this and replace it with a cartridge from the package provided, before you begin use.
  • The batteries that you receive will not need to be charged excessively for the first time.  When the charger indicates a full charge, please remove it from the charger and store it for use.  We recommend that you do not leave a fully charged battery connected to the charger.
  • Periodically, clean the contacts of both the atomizer and the battery.  This can be done with either a paper towel, a q-tip, or any other appropriate, dry cleaning material.  Do not use any household cleaning agents when performing this.
  • Never puff on a dry atomizer.  This can be very damaging to the atomizer, as well as cause it to fail completely.
  • As with all electro-mechanical devices, the personal vaporizer will require periodic maintenance.  However, the maintenance that is required for these devices is small and relates mainly to the atomizer.
  • Every few days, you should remove the atomizer from the cartridge and the battery and allow it to rest on a paper towel with the wicking material either touching or facing (depending on the style of atomizer) the paper towel.  This will draw the excess liquid that has been collecting in the wicking material to be drawn out, and prevent any buildup from occurring.  This should be done with care for exposed wicking material atomizers, as any damage done to this wicking material will cause the device to operate improperly.
  • This can be done overnight, or for a period of a couple of hours when it is not being used.  After this is done, install a new cartridge and allow the wicking material to soak up the fresh liquid for about 15 minutes, before use.  Also, if you have liquid you can place two or three drops of liquid on the wicking material, and allow this to soak in for a few minutes.
  • If you are getting very poor vapor production with a fresh cartridge and a charged battery, then you may need to clean the atomizer.  In order to do this, you may use the following method, but be careful not to harm yourself while you do this.  Get a container of hot water, between 120 – 160ºF, and immerse the atomizer beneath the water for between 30 minutes and 1 hour.  After this, retrieve the atomizer, place it on a paper towel, and allow it to cool until it is comfortable to touch to your lips.  Now, blow through the end that makes contact to the battery, to flush out any water inside the atomizer.  After this, follow the same instructions that were previously given for draining the atomizer.
  • In order to prevent the battery from activating, when it is not intended, disconnect the battery from the atomizer when it is not being used.  This can be done by completely unscrewing the battery from the atomizer, and placing the parts in a safe storage area, or simply unscrewing the battery so that it does not contact the atomizer.
